Fondé le 30 avril 2016, l'Ensemble musical Divertimento, basé à Gonderange dans la commune de Junglinster au Luxembourg, regroupe des musiciens passionnés de tout âge jouant de la mandoline, de la guitare, de la guitare basse, de la flûte traversière et de la percussion.
L'ensemble évolue sous la direction musicale et artistique d'Isabelle Merlevede. L'orchestre joue exclusivement des arrangements d'Isabelle Merlevede, qui ont une tonalité unique en son genre et qui sont adaptés de façon optimale aux musiciens.
Divertimento évolue dans un genre nouveau, grâce à la diversité de ses compositions, allant de la pop, du rock à des mélodies latino-américaines en passant par des musiques de films et des mélodies connues de tous.
Depuis sa fondation, l'ensemble joue en moyenne entre 20 et 30 concerts par année.
En avril 2017, l'orchestre s'est produit avec le bien connu imitateur d'Elvis Wally Merlevede en Flandre Occidentale (B).
En 2018, Divertimento avait été sélectionné pour participer à l'Eurofestival pour ensemble à plectre à Bruchsal en Allemagne.
Les 25 et 26 août 2018, Divertimento a organisé son 1er Festival International pour Mandolines et Guitares à Echternach au Luxembourg. Lors de ce rassemblement multiculturel, 16 ensembles et musiciens venant de divers pays (Luxembourg, France, Allemagne, Belgique, Suisse, Rép. Tchèque, Hong Kong, Venezuela) ont offert des prestations variées et enthousiastes.
Les musiciens ont accompagné le fameux baryton David John Pike lors du Riesling Open 2018.
La même année, pendant la période de Noël, Divertimento a eu le plaisir de pouvoir jouer plusieurs concerts de bienfaisance, ensemble avec les Choeurs de l'Université du Luxembourg, sous la direction de Julia Pruy, dans trois églises différentes.
En 2019, l'orchestre s'est produit ensemble avec l'orchestre de mandolines de Cologne "Harmonie", sous la direction de Sergej Kudrjasov à Cologne.
En 2020 et 2021, Divertimento avait à coeur de procurer une petit joie aux habitants des maisons de retraite pendant la pandémie du coronavirus et s'est produit à plusieurs reprises à l'extérieur en interprétant ses plus belles mélodies.
En mai 2022, Divertimento a eu le plaisir de jouer un concert ensemble avec l'orchestre "Frisch Auf" à Elz (D).
Les 2 et 3 juillet 2022, Divertimento a organisé son 2ème Festival International pour Mandolines et Guitares à Heffingen (Luxembourg).
En août 2022, Divertimento s'est produit à l'occasion des "Brunnenhof Konzerte" à Trêves (D).
En novembre de la même année, Divertimento a participé au Festival organisé par Guitar'Essonne à Paris (F).
Das Musikensemble wurde am 30. April 2016 gegründet und hat seinen Sitz in Gonderange in der Gemeinde Junglinster in Luxemburg. Es besteht aus leidenschaftlichen Musikern, die Mandoline, Gitarre, Bassgitarre, Querflöte und Perkussion spielen.
Divertimento spielt unter der musikalischen Leitung von Isabelle Merlevede. Das Orchester spielt ausschliesslich Arrangements von Isabelle Merlevede, welche sich durch ein homogenes Klangbild hervortun und optimal auf die Musiker abgestimmt sind.
Divertimento setzt neue Akzente, in punkto Kompositionen sowie Vielfalt der musikalischen Gestaltung. Das Ensemble weiss mit unterhaltsamer Musik, das von Pop, Rock bis hin zu lateinamerikanischen Melodien und bestbekannten Ohrwürmern aus Schlager und Filmmusik reicht, zu begeistern.
Seit seiner Gründung spielt Divertimento im Schnitt zwischen 20 und 30 Konzerte im Jahr.
April 2017 trat das Orchester mit dem bestbekannten Elvis Imitator Wally Merlevede im belgischen Westflanderen auf.
2018 hat sich das Musikensemble erfolgreich fürs Eurofestival Zupfmusik in Bruchsal in Deutschland beworben.
Am 25. und 26. August 2018 organisierte Divertimento das 1. internationale Musikfestival für Mandoline und Gitarre in Echternach in Luxemburg. Bei dieser multikulturellen Zusammenkunft haben 16 Orchester und Musiker aus verschiedenen Ländern (Luxemburg, Frankreich, Deutschland, Belgien, Schweiz, Tschechien, Hong Kong, Venezuela) ein vielfältiges und enthusiastisches Programm vorgestellt.
Auf dem Riesling Open 2018 begleiteten die Musiker den berühmten Bariton David John Pike.
Im selben Jahr zur Weihnachtszeit war es Divertimento eine grosse Freude mehrere Benefizkonzerte, zusammen mit dem Chor der Universität Luxemburg unter der Leitung von Julia Pruy, in drei verschiedenen Kirchen zu spielen.
2019 trat das Orchester zusammen mit dem Kölner Mandolinenorchester « Harmonie » unter der Leitung von Sergej Kudrjasov in Köln (D) auf.
2020 und 2021 lag es dem Musikensemble Divertimento am Herzen während der Corona-Pandemie den Menschen aus den Altersheimen eine kleine Freude zu bereiten, indem es draussen eine ganze Reihe von Konzerten mit seinen schönsten Melodien abgegeben hat.
Im Mai 2022 hatte Divertimento das Vergnügen ein Konzert zusammen mit dem Orchester "Frisch Auf" in Elz (D) zu spielen.
Am 2. und 3. Juli 2022 hat Divertimento das 2. internationale Musikfestival für Mandoline und Gitarre in Heffingen (Luxemburg) organisiert.
Im August 2022 trat Divertimento bei den Brunnenhof Konzerten in Trier (D) auf.

Founded on April 30th, 2016, Divertimento is an orchestra, based in Gonderange, part of the municipality of Junglinster (Luxembourg) and featuring enthusiastic musicians playing mandoline, guitar, bass, flute and percussion.
The orchestra plays under the musical and artistic guidance of Isabelle Merlevede. She writes all the arrangements for the orchestra, which have a unique sound and are perfectly synchronized to the musicians.
Divertimento illustrates a unique musical orientation, a new style of music going from pop/rock to latin-american melodies, over to best known songs from movie soundtracks and hit-parades.
Since its foundation, the orchestra plays between 20 and 30 concerts every year.

2020 and 2021, Divertimento wanted to please the residents of rest homes during the coronavirus pandemic and played its nicest melodies outside during several concerts.
In May 2022, Divertimento had the pleasure to play a concert together with the orchestra "Frisch Auf" in Elz (D).
